I get little red bumps whenever I get licked by my puppy, it’s nothing serious though, just some itching so I don’t plan on getting rid of him. It would be nice if i could find a way for this not to happen though.
Wash the area the puppies have licked right after you’re done playing with them…it could be irritation from their saliva. Good luck! kjl
I wore a t-shirt in which there was a black hairy cutworm.. It somehow got squeezed and its fluid spread all over my arm.. Now I have developed redness, itching, and quite large wheals on my forearm.. Please suggest some remedies..
Benadryl, best thing to do if you can’t get to a doc for treatment.
I have tried everything from Allegra to Claritin to Zyrtec. I’ve been on the shots for years. Nothing works
I’ve heard about several non-Western treatments like acupuncture but have never tried it. Also, I have the rings around my eyes from allergies as well. Dermatologist said he can’t prescribe anything. Does anyone know a way to get rid of that as well? Thanks for your help in advance. God bless.
Not sure what kind of allergies you have, but I have had terrible seasonal allergies in fall and early summer since I moved 4 years ago. They got so bad last summer that I couldn’t even speak. I too tried several different meds, I never thought I was going to find one that worked and didn’t have awful side effects, but I finally did. I finally had great success with combined treatment of zyrtec and a nasacort nasal spray. The nasacort has a cortisol steroid that is supposed to reduce inflammation and make it easier to breathe. (I’ve also had an oral corticosteroid prescribed in combo with the allergy meds) Have you tried any sort of spray? I know they make spray forms of allergy meds such as nasanex(sp?), you might check into that. Sorry this has been such an ordeal for you, it’s rough on me for the short period that I get it every year, don’t give up…keep experimenting with the drugs that work for your allergies, every person is different. Good luck! Bless you
Please help.. I don;t thnik it is a cat allergy cause it takes time for me to experience it.
Usually within half an hour of uninterrupted exposure.
A couple of friends come to my house, and if they haven’t taken their allergy antihistimines before they get here, they are sniffing and their eyes are getting red, and they are in a full blown allergy attack by the time they leave (2-3 hrs).

I know there are many home remedies, herbal and such that are said to cure certain illnesses. Does anyone have any ideas?
As an asthma educator, I do not recommend any of them. They are not scientiically proven. Any asthma specialist is going to have you follow the athma evidence based guidelines 3rd version (EPR⎯3) or GINA guidelines (international) to control your asthma.
Know triggers and avoid them
Use a controller med
have an asthma action plan
peak flow meter
spacer
rescue inhaler
could it-
-stunt your growth
(im a good 7-8" shorter than my sister, was at my age, and i was told i am not supposed to grow anymore- im 5′ 1")
-make your bones brittle
(when i run my ankle bones slam together, my knees hurt all the time, my back is always in alot of pain)
-cause you to have the shakes
(when i was little when i took my treatments, afterwards i would have the shakes or shivers, call it what you like- i know its said that if you have a sugar deficiency, but i can promise you i consume enough sugar- lol, but now i have the shakes but i have not taken treatments in yrs.)
i sound complainy i know but im worried please help thanks
i have taken steroids, for years in my childhood but i am in high school now, so idk if that would affect me now. i would love to talk to a doctor about it, but my mom refuses to take me to a doctor, like last week i asked her if i could get my teeth cleaned (bc i just got my braces off in may, and i havent had them cleaned in close to 2 yrs.) and she liked freaked out on my saying that i just love thinking of things to make her do
If you’ve taken steroids (either oral, like prednisone or inhaled, like Advair, Flovent or Beclomethasone), it can cause you to become Calcium deficient, which can lead to brittle bones later in life. However, this probably isn’t what’s causing your joint pain now.
Many people shake after an albuterol treatment, but the shaking goes away within an hour or so…your current shaking is definitely not from the treatment you had as a kid.
Your symptoms sound unrelated to your asthma treatment, but definitely worth talking about with your doctor.
Good luck.
